These two fine hounds belong to good friends of mine.The hound on the the left is Hooch he belongs to a fellow out of Chase City Va.named Jeff Gurley.Jeff is a real fine person one of those people that will bend over backwards to help you out.The hound on the right is marshmellow , my son named him, so don't give this guy a hard time over the dogs name.He belongs to Darrell Garnett from Boyton Va. On second thought give him a hard time.
Here is a picture of a 4-month old Whiskey pup, this hound was the runt of his litter but I have seen him working on a coon and he doesn't think he is a runt.Oh yeah the guy in the picture is Devin Maker of Iowa I have talked to devin a bunch and he really seems to be a nice person .Devin has been going through some rough times with his sons health so please say a little in your prayers for him and his family.
Another picture of my nugget female that is breed to Whiskey. The one of her treeing on the female page did not do her justice, it was about 90 degrees that night.
Found a picture from the past, for those of you who are into Yadkin River hounds here is one that in my opinion was one of the best. Her name was Shirley and she belonged to a man named Jim Wildman Meeks. I was blessed to have followed her to a many of trees back in those NC. swamps, which there where few and far between that we did not see a coon in.She would take you hunting .Thanks Shirley for the memories.
I haven't put many pictures of Whiskey on here but probably hunt him more than any of my hounds, so here is one .
The little 4 month old hound in the picture above is now 10 months old , his name is Bandit. Devin is starting him in the hunts and having great luck with him,keep bringing home those plus points Bandit.
